The system here is made up of parabolic arches that vary in height. The mold will be made up by rotating vaulted extrusions in a square container.

This is what I’m imagining the rubber molds will look like. Right now the components shown follow regular geometries (and in the first line are symmetrical.) I would like to pursue this project by either modeling a single component based on non-regular geometry and extending it into a field, or having a single mold and deforming it with exterior pressure points (as seen in the second line.)
Our group is making progress with balloons, and wooden molds, too. Any tips on how to bring these ideas together would be appreciated!
